Who was gonna tell me this isn't actually the last book of the series, and that Finley and James are writing another that follows characters from this cast (with Ezra's story first)?! I was kind of surprised Ezra didn't get his own book here, so its fitting knowing he's kicking off another string of hockey romances by these two. These books saved me during academic hell last semester of uni, so I'm overjoyed knowing I'll have more to fly through.

Just as I loved Asher's story—watching him learn to take care of his younger siblings after the untimely death of their parents—I enjoyed Westly's story similarly. As an older sibling, I resonated with a lot of the looming pressure and responsibility he felt (though of course to a much lesser extent). There were so many heartwarming moments that didn't even revolve around the romance, making for a really well-rounded story with a sizeable cast of loveable characters. I was already pretty fond of Asher and West's five younger siblings from the previous book, but their presence was even more welcome here.

Westly and Jasper's romance was hardly what I expected. It's always nice when there's little to no drama surrounding the logistics of a relationship, and that's certainly the case with these two. The main and almost only source of uncertainty stemmed from the possibility of Asher finding out, given his hatred for Jasper as his math professor. Even then, I was eager to see what would happen once the news eventually got out, and how Asher would eventually come to accept Jasper as someone who made his brother a lot happier. This was a nice conclusion to the series; both audiobook narrators were really enjoyable as well!

This one was my favorite in the series. I loved Westley and jasper. I think I need to stray away from the college books bc I really just cannot relate anymore in my old age (30-geriatric)

I have loved everything about this series and this book is no exception.  I loved West & Jasper’s relationship and the fact that the tension was simmering under the surface until they both gave in.  I loved how they each brought out different sides to each other and I was so happy for their HEA.  Brilliant Read!
