The ending dropped it down .5 stars for me. I don’t know that I fully bought the last 20 pages. But I really enjoyed this. I liked the differences from the movie. Would recommend!

I actually really liked this one. I even liked that it didn't go into detail about when Maren eats because it feels like almost an out of body thing which is neat to think about. (Spoilers)

Especially when she does eat Lee and she wakes up and is like "I know I did it" instead of there being a flashback or the actual scene. Idk I just liked that choice a lot

Also I don't really care about the logistics of a baby eating an adult...... She's obviously not like **really truly** human so that bothered me exactly 0%
