Ever since book one I needed to know about this story from the Sugarlake series!!! So I jumped from book two to book four because that’s the kind of wild ass reader I am.
This series is not for the faint of heart. There are so many undying issues with every character and it’s what makes them so relatable, so endearing, and so real. Check the trigger warnings.
This was a wonderful way to end these books. Everything wrapped up in a less than perfect bow but one that made sense. I will go back and read Beneath the Hood but this was the story that I waited with bated breath to read. No regrets. It was everything I hoped for.
