Quick, fluffy novella. About what you would expect in a book of 90 pages. Insta-love, sex, but added the mistaken identity to this one. Not much else. Good if you just want to cleanse you mind before starting something more.....2.5-3 stars

Meh… not that good! She was crying and btching about things that don’t concern her, so cry me a river girl. I think if they would have had a proper conversation before saying I love you, I would have liked it a bit more. Oh well, this series was only for the laughs and vibes because nothing else really.
This was a fun, quick read, though it did end a bit abruptly, I was into it up to the epilogue!
I did have to suspend belief a bit as the premise was a little implausible.
Mafia.
Dancer female lead.
Edging.
Crime.
Blackmail.
Vi0lence.
Dubcon.
Quick read.
Based on this, I’d be open to more from this author.
The only problem is, I’m not sure who the author is. In some spaces, it’s listed as Lucy Smoke, and in others: Darcy Rose. Not sure if it’s both or one or the other.
Anyway, overall: 3.5 stars.
The audio was … okay.
So he has a great voice and did a good job with a Boston accent (if that’s what it was supposed to be, as I fail to remember the setting at the moment). But his voice is rather cartoonish, so I feel he’d be more suited to other genres than dark romance. While he sounded great in general, his voice didn’t quite fit with the content of this one in many instances.
Overall, it was a pretty smooth production, though a few minor quality issues were noted. 4 stars.

A quick steamy read and the last book in the Dance for Me series. I love the little cameos of characters from previous books and the nice little happily ever after these characters have.
This novella is fast, it’s gritty and it’s steamy. It’s non stop until the end, a very fast burn novella that’s an easy read. Don’t expect a deep storyline, just go with the emotions.

Who the F¢k in Wattpad let this be published :) I get that this is a spicy novella but oh boy the writing and scenes in this book were bad... If you are a horny 13-year-old, you might enjoy this more than I did 😗
This is the last steamy novella in the Dance for Me series- with each (very) short book in each series featuring differently dark romance authors - this one from Darcy Rose and Lucy Smoke. Here we have a kidnapping gone wrong as Cara, a college student working as a waitress, finds herself in the clutches of mafia man Ace Hale. Ace realizes he’s got the wrong girl, but he wants to keep her- and Cara soon finds herself desiring her abductor.
The characters are interesting enough, and like the others, this is mostly just spice. If you’re looking for a story with substance and complexity- that’s not what this is meant to be. It’s fast, steamy, kinky, and titillating- just some dark and sexy fun. The attraction is instalove- fast and furious- and the plot minimal- and as a steamy novella, it delivers.
