It takes place nowadays and has a second POV in Nazi Germany and later on in Concentration camps. Once again is was hard to even imagine the horrendous things that happened there. Jodi Picoult once more manages to describe it to the point and not use it as shock value. She also tells a story within the story, which made for a good breather between the hardest parts and also added another layer to the book.
I loved The Storyteller and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to read realistic fiction fiction that is well researched and yet easy to read for it's fluent prose and story.
