Forgiveness and the inner turmoils. How to accept and move on. How to live with what you know and can’t undo it.
Another book from Jodi picoult touches upon another emotional element. The Inner challenges that the main character deals with brought about by her upbringing, her past and her current relationships, her persona - all making her who she is and making her do the things she does without processing too much. A very strong character without really realising her strength.
A good read. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I was not emotionally prepared for what I was getting into when I started this book.

Different to other Picoult books, same moral discussion but it wasn't just about that. It took a while to get going and it took off and became most poignant with Minka's chapters. The Reiner/ Franz back story was interesting. Somewhat predictable that Reiner was really Franz. I don't think Sage should have helped kill him, what did it achieve? Plus she's now starting a relationship on a lie, pretending to be someone she is now not like Franz.
