3.5 stars. It would’ve been a solid 4 for me had the ending not been so frustrating and dissatisfying. This book is a story within a story and I loved everything about how Minka’s life was painted. Her character was beautiful! Sage however…it was up and down for me, her character was annoying and I didn’t feel sentiment for her and then especially at the end—ugh. Worth the read for sure but I hate a mediocre ending.
