This issue could have scored much lower because of its treatment of women, especially Starfire, in the first half of the book. However, the two male characters showed more respect towards them in the second half.
I'm also not really sure about the changes they've made to Starfire's character. They've stripped her of compassionate nature for a more warrior-like one.

WTF happened to Starfire? A great shame because I actually was reading this comic for Jason and Roy. I'm very familiar with Starfire but not so much with the other two. Her portrayal was so off-putting that I really couldn't focus on anything else. Hopefully the Rebirth title is better....

I liked what the author did with Jason, didn't much like what he did with Starfire, kind of indifferent about the changes to Roy but would have liked him to stay a recovering addict rather than a recovering alcoholic.
The story itself was interesting and the art was really nice. The graphic novel also showed some concept art and cover sketches which was pretty cool.
My favorite part was probably the "most cherished memory" sequence. Especially Jason's. It was really sweet and heartbreaking. But I'm a sucker for psychological issues, lol.

There were so many things wrong with this book but frankly I hated it so much I can’t be bothered to even go into them.
I guess the main question I have is: WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO STARFIRE?!?!
And Roy, and Jason? Character assassination on all fronts over here. If you care about there characters do yourself a favour and avoid this.

I don’t remember when I decided to stop reading this but it was so weird and objectifying I hated it
Moderate: Sexism and Misogyny
Starfire is incredibly objectified in this comic, it’s a shame because I really would’ve liked this team-up but, had I known, I would not have purchased this comic or even thought to read itcaptwinghead's review against another edition

I was a little bored at times but overall, the story was entertaining. I'm still fairly new to Jason Todd's character and the writing for him was a little bland but mostly interesting. I liked seeing his loyalty and dedication to Ducra, the All Caste and Roy, even.
The action scenes were well drawn and entertaining. Roy was definitely a bright spot. Starfire was... okay. I like character and I love seeing her kick ass here. Her outfit will never stop bothering the hell out of me. The writing and how the other men treated her bugged me. It felt like every fanboy's wet dream.
Anyway, I liked that there wasn't any slutshaming. I hated that there was a small plot with a boy taking photos of her and posting them because he thought she was hot but other than that, the writing was fine. It was the outfit that offended me.
The best part were the flashbacks to everyone's happiest memories. Especially Jason's with Bruce. My heart melted.
If I check out the second volume, I'll borrow it from the library because I'm not that i vested.

Gorgeous art, really interesting page layouts— and nothing else.
