Dear Lord, i'm so glad that this series is finally over. When i finished reading book number 8 i thought it was like over or something but then to my dismay i found out there were more books in the series. Hm! Even though i really like and enjoyed this series, 16 books is just pushing it, don't you think? I was so sick of all the bad things that happened to aria, spencer, emily, and hanna and sometimes they frustrated me too especially when they got so close to find and catch Ali and drag her ass to prison but failed over and over again. Anyway, kudos to me for finishing this series without losing my mind, i guess? And today's the season finale for the show too! So i should probably start watching the show since i got pretty invested in some of the characters in the book, even though I heard the ending was pretty ridiculous.

It is finished! I have done it! All 16 books are done and I am pleasantly surprised except for that very final little chapter which had better not result in another 4 books set in 20 years time or something like that. For the love of all things holy, please no.

It was quite the ride but I'm glad it's over because that's probably the most books I've read in a series since I was 10 and reading the Babysitters Club.

Alright Sara Shepard, let's end this! You can do it! There will seriously be a riot if you don't. I think the Internet might explode...

EDIT: what happened to the candy coloured covers??? Because this is the last one, it's going to be randomly emo now??? At least the title hasn't changed to something weird... Has everyone seen the new book Shepard is writing? It's called Perfectionists and I'm thinking the new characters are descendants of the PLL crew. You know, just to screw with us more. The cover looks almost the same too, except no Barbie dolls. I think it is agreed that this time around I'll b reading her series via the library. Because if it carries out to 16 books I might scream...

After Reading: Well, you'll love this book if you're a fan. Seriously, it has the highest stakes, some stupid moves done by the girls, and some happy endings you'll absolutely love. I love how some of the characters from the first few books came back and you get to see their new lives. I was a little annoyed that the last few pages insinuated the possibility of more books because Ali is an evil mastermind. It was an entertaining and easy read, so if you haven't gotten to this book yet, maybe reconsider? But no one will hate you if you didn't finish this series.

Well, I thought the final book would be epic!

Review in GIF Form:

Well. It's finally over. I have such mixed feelings about this series. I started reading this when I was in 6th grade. 6th grade people! I've graduated COLLEGE at this point! THIS. BOOK. SERIES. IS. TOO. LONG. I lost my patience with it so long ago, and it just annoys me to death, buttttt that being said I had to finish it. The finale book was fairly decent, follows the pattern of all the others and is basically just the same book over and over again except everything is actually ended. Or is it? Sara Shepherd just couldn't leave it alone- it's left open-ended as per flipping usual. The series is worth reading start to finish one time, and now that the entire thing is published I do recommend it. At the very least read the first 8 books- those are fabulous. After that though it gets sooooo old and the messes the girls get themselves into get more and more ridiculous. Anyway, read it once, then leave it alone for the rest of forever.

Oh my god!! oh my god!! oh my god!! That ending of that series was intense. That twist in the middle of the book was interesting and wondering to happening. I still can't believe that this series has ended. If I had to choose between the book series and the TV show series, I would have to choose the TV show series. I like to better then the books. Even though, in the TV show, I wish that Aria and Noel would get together because I like them in the books. Other in that, it was a good way to end the series.

I'm gonna say 3.5 stars. I'm so glad I finally got to read this and that the series is finally over. though it is somewhat bitter sweet. this is the best book the series has had in a long time.
