She untwists the cap, drinks thirstily, and takes a moment to be mind-blown by the beautiful junk of this late-capitalist Earth, overpopulated by a parasitic glut of violent omnivorous primates who have made an industry of scraping up the very stuff of life, repackaging it in plastic, and selling it to one another. Amazing.

Falls flat but was a page turner

Fuuuuuck me. This is decidedly NOT going to work for a lot of people (if you need to like the characters you read about, you're going to have a bad time with this one), but it really worked for me. Kinda want to read it again already, but I'm not going to. When I do read it again, I'll probably bump it up to a 5.

Def gave dark Vanessa vibes with the younger older dynamic but there was something darker obsessive and loving about the mother’s relationship with daughter this could turn into a 5 it’s haunting me

this was crazy and kind of confusing but i really liked it! the ending felt rushed but other than that it was good!
