Wasn’t a fan of Mae at all. Especially when the twist comes. Really?

*I received a free copy of Lover Unveiled. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review which is honest and unbiased.*

Lover Unveiled is yet another installment in the Black Dagger Brotherhood, and there was quite a bit going on here! There was a new (old?) brother who showed up - but not in the way anyone could have ever guessed. And he definitely had his work cut out for him!

There was both excitement and hotness, and of course, the brothers at the mansion and all their intricate relationships drew me in as always.

Si aggiungono sempre altri personaggi e le storie ormai si ripetono un po', ma mi è piaciuto molto avere il punto di vista di Devina e Lassiter... Adesso sono loro i miei preferiti...

1.5/5 stars

This morning I woke up and thought to myself, “I feel generous today”. Which is why I’m giving this book 1.5 stars instead of 0!

I think the book did the best job in describing Mae: no personality, uninteresting and a coward. Sahvage only became interesting at the end, with that revelation.

I’m looking forward to Balthazar and Lassiter’s book. Also, I LOVE Devina.

Frustratingly enthralling

I was so frustrated with being fed little tidbits and puzzle pieces in the beginning of the book that I was cursing at J.R. Ward but it was worth it.

I was a fan of Sahvage right away but I'm not sure I ever warmed to Mae. She seemed focused on her own needs and was rude to Sahvage even though he was helping her.

I see some interesting developments happening for future books.

The usual...still I'd like to see Lassiter get what's coming to him!
