It was a fantastic read, this is what Wish (Disney Film) was trying to be but dummed its slef down to pretend it was for kids, despite the book not being for kids. I enjoyed this thoughly, it does feel like a drag to get through at certin points, but I still highly recommend especially if you love fairytale re-tellings, but made to be more inclusive and with a lot more of an important message or theme then the orignale. Please do yourself a favour and read it. 💙

Hooked from the beginning! I devoured this book, so engaging and fast paced. A unique retelling that lived up to the hype! The plot twist caught me completely by surprise, it was so well done.

The only “negatives” that I didn’t completely love (but didn’t keep this from being a 5 star) was the romance and a couple of predictable plot points. The romance was just okay for me, it felt a bit insta lovey. As for the plot points/reveals, I predicted two of them almost immediately 😂🥲

Overall it was a quick, entertaining read! Highly recommend for those that also enjoy retellings

An excellent retelling of Cinderella from the point of view of a sapphic poc. Predictable at times but still a delightful read.
