3.75 - it’s a good book. I really enjoyed reading it. But it wasn’t exceptional. It wasn’t necessarily exciting. There wasn’t anything wrong with the book. It just needed a line something more.
I have to say though that I swore to myself there would be a twist. I was convinced something super sad and tragic was going to happen at the end. I was so worried. Maybe that’s why I was disappointed. Because there is no twist in this book. Unless you count her dead husband being alive. lol

I don’t think I’ve felt torn reading a book in a while. I didn’t know who I wanted Emma to be with. Jesse or Sam?! Beautiful, heart-breaking book. She worked through herself, and found the love that worked for her.

I am so torn about this book. I so desperately wanted to love it, but I don’t think I’ve ever felt so irrationally angry while reading. I think it was really well done, but I think it just wasn’t for me. Or maybe I was just too invested in the characters, I’m not really sure. All I know is my anxiety felt triggered and I felt this constant feeling of frustration while I was reading. I wanted to stop reading but also really wanted to find out what happened. If I could do half stars I think I’d have to give it a 2.5.

Like always, eu amo um romance com triângulo amoroso, hahaha, bom, mas digo que desde o início fiquei muito em conflito por já torcer pelo que não era o marido dela…
