Anything about a Sasquatch looking for love is worth taking a look at, and when it's by Ashley Spires of course it's a delight!

Larf is a shy, vegetarian Sasquatch who is happy being the only one of his kind and living in the woods with Eric, his pet bunny. But one day he discovers there may be someone else out there just like him. So he sets off with Eric for the big city to see if he can find another of his kind.

I LOVED Larf! Not only was the story unique and humorous but the illustrations were laugh-out-loud adorable! I especially loved Larf's Baby Bjorn-like contraption he used to carry Eric around in. :)

What if you thought you were the only Sasquatch in the world, and suddenly found out there was another? Imagine the range of emotions you might go through -- joy, fear, hope, nervousness -- Larf feels them all. But wait until you see what happens when he meets this other Sasquatch! A sweet, fun, story about a solitary Sasquatch.

A cute and funny book about a reclusive sasquatch who makes a new friend. Adorable illustrations with funny details throughout.

Cute but nothing exciting. Might be useful when doing a making friends storytime?

I have routinely taught a fun unit on Bigfoot [do YOU believe??] to kids ages 5-10, and this would be a great addition to that unit. It's a fun perspective on the thoughts and life of this unique [fantastical?] creature!

Larf is a sasquatch who is happy no one believes he exists. He enjoys his solitude. Until one day, he meets a sexy lady sasquatch. Larf is so taken with her that inspires him to bathe on occasion.

LARF is an endearing character and I really liked the style of illustration. This book would make a great read aloud for younger elementary readers who enjoy silly stories.
