[cocky male lead, strong female lead, F1 Racer, my brother's rival, A+ banter, character development, sexual tension for days]
I need a second to process that ending bc like,, BRO AAA I NEED MOREEE. U DIDN'T EVEN LET MISS GHORL ANSWER AAAAA *SMACKS DOOR* GIMME MORE NOAH AND MAYA
The story is so so good and i especially love noah's character. I love how he's unapologetically an ass and yet, with the years of PR training i guess, he's pretty self-aware and honest when he wants to be. He apologizes for his mistakes and owns up to his shit. I know, the bar is in hell for men. But you really can't blame me when most men, fictional and non-fictional alike, are just shy of being complete assholes. I love how he really showed maya that he was willing to change for her. Love how he took all the steps and more.
I also love how Maya clearly knows her worth. Choosing to reject Noah that first time he asked to be friends w benefits. Most female leads would've said 'fuck it' and agreed. I like how she stood her ground, no matter how attracted she was to him.
All in all, the story is amazing. The smut scenes were spicy, and the tension, palpable. The sappy scenes made me swoon and gush, so I guess the author did their job right there. 5/5 would read the rest of the books in the series
