i loved this book so much, i fell for these characters so quickly and so easily - noah and maya are both so relatable in their own ways and i love them both so much!
loved seeing the other characters too, it made me so excited for the rest of the series. i love sophie and her friendship with maya, she’s so cute! and santiago? hello best brother ever!? i can’t believe i have to wait till book four for his story

If i wasnt an F1 fan I would like the book. But I am. So I dont.
REREAD:
I really thought my reread would change my mind and increase my rating from 2 to 3 stars but boy was I wrong.
It was on 3 stars until they got together and I just couldn’t. I nearly DNFed at 60% (again)
❓ Santiago and Noah weren’t rivals. Borderline dislike for each other at best.
❗️Noah came across as a narcissist that’s all bark no bite - his relationship with his parents could have been missing from the whole book and wouldn’t have made a difference.
The only point in which it impacted was when his dad basically revealed Noah’s and Mayas relationship to her brother.
❓The book starts with Maya getting a communications degree, which again I was confused why it was included as she ended up being a vlogger — I have no issue with what Maya decided to do, but since the degree doesn’t get mentioned again, at least make it relevant to her hobby/work
It was an unnecessary piece of information
❗️I found the characters shallow and unconstructed.
I’m hoping it’s one of those series where the books get better as they go cos idk if I’ll ever pick up another Lauren Asher book after this😭
I really enjoyed dreamland billiinaires so idk what happened between that series and this one cos it felt like the writing worsened
