Incredibly introspective, invites you to reflect about life.
I normally read fantasy, but the author really knows how to keep the pace and chapters are not really long.

What is a life for, if not to live? This book certainly shows a new perspective and embodies the notion of “a new lease on life”.

The concept is intriguing but the writing is fairly flat. Perhaps the author didn’t want to get too dark by portraying mental health struggles in a realistic way? Although they did include
suicide
so, who knows. Instead of diving into the emotions of the protagonist, it feels like the plot of driven by surface-level events that don’t ring true to me. Maybe one day I’ll read it in a different mood and feel differently about it. It’s very popular so it could just be me.
