This book took my favorite tropes and made it into a phenomenal book! Age Gap, forbidden romance, and hockey!? I mean come on. This book was perfection.
God damn. Hudson’s mouth should be a sin!

Spicyyyyyy but I couldn’t get over the age gap. What does a 33 year old have in common with a 19 year old Junior in college??????????

Also very much insta-lust and I have no idea how they fell in love when they barely knew anything about each other…

Y’all!
I was lucky to receive an arc my Maren and this book was everything! Seriously it was so good. The plot the wrapping up the totally Pucked series was fantastic.
I loved Hudson and Caroline from the beginning.
I loved the dirty mouth on this man! Seriously I don’t think y’all are ready for it! I was blushing at one point because this man has a way with words.
This forbidden romance had everything I ever wanted in a series and a book.

I LOVE a forbidden romance!! Just something about their first meeting really hooked me in and I'm so glad that I never looked back!

Bravo!

What a fun couple to end the series on. It’s hard to pick favorites now that the series is complete. It feels like we’ve spent such a long time with these amazing characters, and it’s bittersweet to see it come to a conclusion. It’s hard not to feel like we really did become part of the team—the family.

This one starts off as your classic , “Oops I didn’t know who you were” hookup. Hudson Rome is your typical playboy hockey goalie. He’s toned down his shenanigans since the previous books, but isn’t afraid to let loose with a meaningless one night stand. So when he meets stunning Juliet and hooks up with her, he’s thrown for a loop when she’s the one that slips out on HIM before he can even pull his pants up and the way he can’t get her out of his head.

College junior Caroline decides to have a little x rated fun with the guy she’s just met, fake name included... And then realizes her mistake later when “Romeo” waltzes into her dads office. Her dad gave her a strict rule, don’t get involved with his team. But like a forbidden fruit, the temptation is there. She should be busy trying to pass her classes. She doesn’t have time for a player that’s clearly off limits.

Here’s what I loved: Hudson and Caroline were so fun. They’re both a bit wild and down for anything so it was an exciting match up. The heat between these two was intense. The chemistry is off the charts right out the gate, and it just gets better and better from there. They have a double digit age gap, but nothing concerning enough to make me scream call the cops. These two are victims of Insta love. More so Hudson than Caroline. He’s definitely falling for his coaches daughter first, but she’s close behind. The way these two were completely obsessed with each other despite their “forbidden love” was scrumptious. Hudson is a broody protective mess over her and Caroline has finally found her knight in shining armor.

Here’s what I wish there was more of: Though the ending was warm and fuzzy (No seriously, cuteness overload), I wanted just a tiny bit more of all the other characters. We get a small taste of it at the end with everyone reuniting, but it just made me nostalgic and crave a little more time with them. But I’m just being greedy. This was such a cute end to the series and I’m so happy with the way each of the stories played out.

It’s been such a fun ride and I’m excited to see what’s next for Maren Moore. The biggest thank you to her and Katie for the ARC. It’s been an honor being even the smallest part of her team.

(I received an ARC for this book)

Trigger Warnings include:
possible drugging, attempted sexual assault

After playing the best season of his career, Hudson still feels like something is missing. But then Caroline walks into his life. She takes him by storm. A tornado through his mind and heart. She has him questioning everything in his life. It broke my heart the way he hated his reputation. His heart is just as beautiful as his mouth is dirty. And I wasn’t prepared for either! I gotta give them both credit, they do a pretty good job riding the friendship line. Until they just can’t anymore. But because of that friendship they build? They find trust and acceptance. Which gives them each a comfortable space to share their secrets, doubts, and worries. Hudson and Caroline were free, enjoying each other’s company. It’s easy, carefree. What goes on behind closed doors is a serious bonus! Being with Caroline threatens everything Hudson has, but when he realizes he was more concerned over losing her than whatever consequences he would face being with her? My heart nearly short circuited! And shoutout BFF Tatum for helping Caroline sort through her feelings! I was getting worried, because I ADORED Caroline and didn’t want to see her make the wrong decision because she was confused!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “Please let me devour your p!ssy before I f!cking die of starvation.”
• “I see you, Hudson Rome. All of you, even the pieces that you keep hidden away.”
• “A man is only so f!cking strong, gentleman or not.”
• “It was the sweetest f!cking thing I’ve ever tasted. Until you.”
• “I want you, and I am so f!cking sick of pretending that I don’t.”
• “Because I can’t f!cking stay away.”
• “I’d lay off the nickname, unless you want to be screaming it later.”
• “You come whenever I say so. Not before.”
• “I’ll never get enough of this.”
• “If you keep taunting me, I’m going to put you on your knees right here and f!ck your throat just so you remember who’s in charge.”
• “Show me what it’s like to be yours.”
• “I want to memorize every inch of this body, and I won’t be rushed.”
• “I can’t decide what I love more. My jersey on your back or my c!m on your pretty lips.”
• “ I don’t give a sh!t what I have to sacrifice to have you.”
• “When you walk into a room, you are the only thing that I see.”
• “Loving you isn’t conditional.”

The perfect final book in a series does not exi….I spoke too soon because Maren came through hard with this book. My expectations for this book were already high, but she more than met them with this delectable morsel as it provided me with laughter, swooning, and general sweating from the steam contained in these pages. If you’ve read, well, pretty much any book written by Maren, you know her skill with writing fellas who immediately become your newest book boyfriend and although they’ve all been in the running for first place, Hudson and his dirty mouth will definitely be taking over that top spot! I also think that I related most to Caroline out of the other leading ladies, so I suppose loving Hudson makes sense, because they are pure perfection in a match. This book is available now, so hopefully you stop reading this and just one-click that puppy to dive in immediately!

another amazing totally pucked book

sometimes i’m wary of age gap romances, especially when the younger party is closer to teen years but this was done very well. it felt very true to what i felt as a 20 year old and it was the perfect addition to the series!!
