What smut! And smut's great and all, but it got very repetitive and by the end I was getting really sick of penises.

i skipped the last 20 pages of this because it made me too angry lmao.
as a literature enthusiast, this is a really interesting book to read. aside from that though, it's incredibly outdated.
i will say though, props to john cleland for writing basically 200 pages of porn and somehow making it somewhat interesting.

Thank goodness! I managed to plough through that horrible ranting writing style - only because I wanted to be able to say "I've read Fanny Hill!".
Now, I don't even know why I ever thought it would have been cool to claim such a thing. The story is pretty much incomprehensible, except for the graphic smut scenes - which are EVERYWHERE. I found it easiest to read while being (slightly) inebriated.
