I gave this book a fair try by getting over halfway into it, and I just couldn’t do it any more.
When I read a romance, I want to at least like the main couple and root for them to be together — and that wasn’t the case with this book at all. I was especially not a fan of how the MMC was acting up until the point I read, and the drama (relationship, secondary plot) was starting to get old.
That being said, I do like one of the secondary characters and maybe one day I’ll try a different book in this series.

My first DNF. I got 48% in and just could not get into it. I didn't like either character. Both were whiny, petty, immature, etc. It just got too annoying to continue the repetitive cycle of ...I like you, let's f*** and You're an A**hole/B**** get away from me.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Stopover: The Miles High Club by T L Swan is my ultimate go-to audiobook, a captivating story that I find myself returning to 3-5 times every year. It hits all the right notes with its perfect blend of tension, romance, and spice, featuring a fiercely determined female protagonist, Emily, who doesn't back down and always has a sharp comeback ready. CJ Bloom brings Emily's character to life with such passion that it adds a new layer of depth to the story.
While I adore Sebastian York and crave more of his narration, the chemistry between Emily and Jay ("Jim") is electrifying. The book is nothing short of spectacular, delivering a phenomenal blend of emotional connection, heartbreak, and ultimately, a deeply satisfying happily-ever-after. TL Swan has crafted a narrative that hooks you from the start and refuses to let go. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a romance that leaves a lasting impression.

Had a strong start. Then lost it in the last third of the book, unfortunately.
