Giving a rating for this one was tough. Not much happened during 90% of the book but I still quite enjoyed it. With so much of the story set in place now, I have high hopes for the next book! I also loved the narrator (audiobook)!
Increasingly better as I read. The beginning I wasn't very attached to anybody, by the end it was beautiful and exciting

Last year I searched and searched for a contemporary YA book that incorporated Persian lore, specifically the Shahnameh. I didn’t find it until I randomly picked this up! The writing isn’t as good as A Very Wide Expanse of Sea, but the plot is solid and I read the whole book in one day because I needed to know what happened. Compelling characters, and a twist at the end that prevented it from being all trope, and allowed it to become a series…and I’m headed to the library for the others immediately!
This Woven Kingdom was slow but interesting. However, the ending went in directions I didn't care for. I'm not sure if I'll continue this series.

it felt super weird cuz for once the fantasy is literally my beliefs which made it even more intriguing. the romance on the other hand was meh i didnt feel any chemistry but i have hope for the sequel
