This book is great and has some of the best romantic banter I've read.

I really liked the beginning of the book, there was strong intrigue and an interesting hook to tie the male and female leads together.
About 2/3rds of the way through the book, however, I grew tired of no one answering anything. All the characters just bickered, never giving straight answers, and not even the narration gave the entire story all at once, just little crumbs about basic information. It's one thing to have a mystery, it's another to withhold basic information that the female MC knows about herself for the sake of "suspense". It wound up killing all suspense for me and feeling like I was reading Dragon Ball.
I think dancing around the the answers, even in the narration, left the narration feeling redundant. There are 4+ incinstance where Asileh's ice blood is brought up and half explained. There are 3+ instances where Kamran complains about silk being scratchy. Sure, it emphasized its importance (maybe), but I only found myself skipping paragraphs only to find that the narration was still rehashing info I'd already read.
