Great book! She really captures the scene and thoughts of the characters well.
I shamelessly admit that I enjoy Mrs. Meyers books. This one started out intriguing, slowed down quite a bit, and then was a wild ride that kept me from going to sleep so that I could finish the book. Not an earth shattering read but a very enjoyable read nonetheless.
A really good book, I was enjoying every bit of it, didn't know what to expect at first. I liked the romance was a really good story and the ending was very good also
I love Stephanie Meyer but this book was a little difficult to stay interested in. I finally finished it and can say I did enjoy the book but it just wasn’t something that kept my interest.
This book follows the life of a chemist on the run after situations have proved dangerous. After attempting one last job from her former employer in exchange for not being bothered anymore, she runs into more danger than she bargained for.
Although I was very pleased to read a book with a strong female lead with a focus on her intelligence, I wasn’t too impressed overall. It seemed as though the focus of the book shifted from the intelligence to the means with which she would go to achieve the ends. I would have loved to have more of a focus on the chemistry and how she had developed this intelligence. The books plot moved fluidly and always kept you guessing, making a good read.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved The Host and I was not disappointed by The Chemist. I love a badass female lead and “Alex” was great. I thought the conspiracies and overall plot were really captivating; I couldn’t put the book down! Also, a pack of well trained dogs being the heroes???!!! Amazing. However, my one qualm is the romance between Alex and Daniel. It seemed really forced and incredibly unrealistic. Did I like that they got together? Of course. Did I believe it? Not at all

Good listen. Main character is interesting and intelligent. Kind of a female version of Jason Bourne. Plot is mostly predictable, but fun.

This was pretty good. I almost gave it 5 stars. I was going to up my vote by one star just because I think people don't give Stephenie Meyer a fair chance because they love to hate the Twilight books. Anyway, I "was" going to it give it 5 stars, but I had to suspend my disbelief a few too many times. Still worth a read if you can stomach a little romance with your spy thrillers.
I’ve heard so much mixed reviews about this book but I really liked. There’s both romance and mystery and I like how well the story comes together.
