I don't know why, but goalie hockey romances always hit just a little bit different. I mean who wouldn't fall in love with a tattooed, hot as sin, pierced hockey player. I absolutely devoured this book from the sneaking around to the forced proximity to the deeper emotional connection.

Sera and Tyler are both dealing with a lot over the course of this book, and have to make some big decisions at a young age. These challenges brought them closer to one another emotionally. They are each other's biggest supporter and comforter. I adored how much they cared and protected one another.

These two also had some HOT scenes. The sneaking around made it that much better friends. Tyler's dirty mouth. Phew šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

The epilogue had my eyes a little misty by the end of it. So so cute.

Welllllll that was f*cking adorable. Tyler the DREAM BOAT.

I didn’t love offside but wanted to give this one a chance! It’s a brother’s teammate and friends with benefits romance set in college. I might be nudging out of the NA romances but I just didn’t feel like much happened. Seraphina (chase’s sister from book 1) moves in with the hockey guys while her mom battles breast cancer. She is also dealing with the potential of having th BRCA 1 gene.

Tyler is a goalie that is destined for the NHL and doesn’t have time for relationships. He recognizes Sera (Tink) from when they hooked up at a party where things were kept anonymous. They start to become friends, then friends with benefits to more.

I just didn’t feel like much happened. Sera had a bad friend and this friend’s brother kept hitting on her. She had to deal with school, her mom, and her own health.

I don’t know if my opinion will change with time, but the writing was good and the author made this one shorter than offside (thankfully).
