Really interesting look into her life and her rise to fame
Such an inspirational story for anyone! Rousey is a total badass!
I finished this book overnight, and have no regrets concerning my lack of sleep. This was a powerhouse of a biography, for a powerhouse of a woman. Rousey is strong and has a story that I, as well as many other young women I am sure can relate to greatly.
Ronda Rousey is a stone cold bitch and I love. I couldn't put the book down I could just feel her intensity through each page. Hands down would recommend.
Her and her sister, Maria Burns Ortiz, a co-author of the book created a fantastic and very inspiring book that will help get to know "the most dangerous unarmed woman in the world" and Sports Illustrated most dominant athlete in a candid way. Easy to read book with many short chapters that will entertain from start to finish.
In almost in chronological order starting with details from her birth--born with the umbilical cord wrapped to her neck--to her early childhood with communication issue, how her father's suicide impacted her, the intense Judo training she endure and the obsession to become the best Judo in the world and her early MMA career transition into the UFC. I suggest anyone and everyone to read the book as it is a memior and it's like a inspirational self-help book. A wonderful book that I will re-read time and time again. She is the definition of the word "Badass".

I used to say all the time, "Changing things is not that easy."
But it is just as easy as making up your mind. You can always make a decision. And if that decision doesn't work, you can make another decision.
While I’ve never been interested in combat sports myself, I’ve always wanted to connect with my partner’s passion for martial arts. That curiosity led me to read Henry Cejudo’s book, but My Fight, Your Fight by Ronda Rousey completely floored me. Rousey’s journey isn’t just about chasing dreams or fueling a passion—it’s about dedicating your entire life to something you believe in. Her story inspired me in ways I didn’t expect, making me more eager than ever to sit down and watch UFC fights with my partner. This book isn’t just for fight fans—it’s for anyone who appreciates relentless determination and the power of resilience.
I really did not expect to like this book this much. It makes no difference that since the publication of the book Ronda has lost her title and has basically retired from the sport. It is well written and had my full attention from page one. This is a very inspirational story and there are a lot of lessons in there that apply to everyone. It is refreshing to have a female athlete get the recognition she deserves and rightfully be a role model for everyone.
While reading her novel, I decided that I would become an Olympic judo fighter. Once I finished the novel and looked at my 5’0” stature, and assessed my utter lack of any experience or aptitude for fighting, I decided I could be badass without beating up women from all over the world for medals. (Although in my mind, I still kick ass. Every. Time.)

I really enjoyed reading about the woman behind the success. As someone who is an athlete and very active, I really felt there were a lot of life lessons to take from Ronda. I'm a fan and this book just made my admiration grow for her whether she wins or losses.
