It was very opinionated and promoted promiscuity and other poor values. I was very disturbed. It had swear words and drawings of naked women. I was sorely disappointed as I was looking forward to this book. It praised immoral actions and tried to turn them into heros for their disturbing actions. Definitely not appropriate for the age level it is aimed at.

Bagieu is one of my favorite comic artists right now. I loved the vibe of this book- it spotlights a bunch of female pioneers, many of whom I whom I had never heard of, who succeeded despite all the obstacles put in their path.

This was a super interesting book and I really liked it. Brazen tells the story of numerous women over history that have done amazing things. Some of the women I did know of, like Temple, Guggenheim, and the crime scene miniaturist. However, the majority of the women I had not heard of. This was a really enjoyable informative graphic nonfiction book.
