The women who are featured in this book as super diverse and all of the their stories are inspiring! It also tuned me on to Tove Jansson who's comics I will now check out.

I loved this collection of short biographies! The illustrations were exquisite. I enjoyed how there were large drawings at the conclusion of each biography. This book introduced me to so many new people and I found myself wanting to learn about so many of them -- a sign of an effective work of nonfiction!
This graphic novel rocked my world. TO all the ladies out there who are rebels this is a must read. Each chapter is about a women who rebelled and stood up for what is right, making a positive change in everyone's lives. This is the kinda of book you bring to parties and say.."Did you know that Agnodice was the first gynecologist?"

C’est Magnifique! My only wish would be that she would write a sequel that includes all the brazen women that were in the list at the end of the book.
