Excellent graphic book about women who shaped history - it was amazing, inspiring, maddening and wonderful. This would be great for young women with creative ideas, different views on the world or crazy ambitions. There are women from other countries, a bearded lady, women of color and all backgrounds. Loved it.

From time to time you come across a book that is just so cheeky, so brilliant, so en-pointe you want to force everyone to read it. That is this book. Think goodnight stories for rebel girls but then for older girls. In graphic novel format. With all the racy and saucy bits. Buy it.
I will always be here for an anthology about kickass women from history; particularly those which celebrate some of the lesser known heroes.
I really enjoyed the art style and how Bagieu added modern references and mannerisms to inject humour and relatable content into her panels.
Unfortunately there were a few stories that weren’t well written or paced (and they’re not translation issues) that bumped this down to 4-stars. For the most part the storytelling was good, but I felt the first third of the book was eeeeesssspecially rocky.
