This should be mandatory reading for middle and high school students.

This book is poorly organized. I wouldve much preferred it be in chronological order. There were women I was very happy to see included such as Temple Grandin, and some I'd never heard of that I thoroughly enjoyed learning about (my favorites being Annette Kellerman, Josephina van Gorkum, Cheryl Bridges, Jesselyn Radack, and Frances Glassner Lee)
I was happy to read about Agnodice, and I was especially happy to see that the book did not lable her a "trans man" the way I've seen modern writers lable similar figures such as Dr. James Barry. I, of course, was endlessly disappointed to see "Christine" Jorgensen given space in this work. Womanhood is a biological reality, and not a feeling.

Un chef d’œuvre !

This was a super interesting nonfiction graphic novel about fascinating women in history. It discusses the lives of women from the bearded lady, to a Grecian gynecologist. The stories are told through a humorous way and shine light on the lesser known women of history.
