Loved this book. Lots of ladies I didn't know about with a few I did, but I didn't know how awesome they all were (or are). The end of the book listed more awesome ladies and it makes me want a sequel book. Also the art was simple but clear and effective and charming.

Great, great, great, great, great. I love all these collections that are coming out, about women who have done/are doing amazing things, but I find that sometimes the same women get covered. There were a TON in here that I had never heard of, or if I had, I learned something new about. That's pretty awesome.

I had to skip a few stories that were overly graphic, but overall I think it was a good introduction to several overlooked women throughout history who made their mark.

There are a few places I thought the text was a little disjointed, other than that I liked this book - I read it to see if it was okay for my daughter to read. Not quite yet. I'm thinking this is a twelve and up kind of book due to adult content (there are some references to various types of sexual violence). The drawings are fine for all eyes.
