Fun, dark, heavy, exciting! I was enthralled from the first page to the last! World-building and plot in under 300 pages! While there is magic-ish type stuff, I’d almost classify this as a sci-fi thriller. I hope for a sequel so we can return to the world and dive deeper into the ‘waters lore and history!!

Love has no cost.

A fantastically dark and original story playing off the time-honored themes of family, motherhood, and sacrifice. Less of a science fiction piece and more a reflection on such topics, but I enjoyed the ride!
