I wanted to like this one but I got 40% through it and it never piqued my interest. I've spent too much time on it already and I want to move on.
Really had to drag myself through this one. I hated most of the characters.
This goes on the "If Dina had read this when she was younger, she would have loved it" list.
For children. A book that will hopefully improve as the series goes on..
La historia es muy interesante y entretenida. El trama está muy bien hilado. Los personajes tienen personalidad, ya que la mayoría se basan en personajes mitológicos de varias culturas.
Al principio noté la historia un poco lenta, pero según vas leyendo te va absorbiendo. El final te deja con las ganas de leer los siguientes libros. Sin duda me leeré los siguientes libros de la saga.

This is one of my favorite books that I have read so far. I like the idea about alchemy behind the plot. The thought of a magic that has almost everything to do with science fascinates me. The plot was very well written and original. There are many battles to keep you interested. There is also much mythology inside of the story. I cannot wait to read the others in the series.

I have a feeling the next bunch of books in the series are going to be really good. This first one is decent, but also had to set up a lot of info for the future books.
