Stone Princess is a completely unexpected story — Devney Perry is unparalleled!
This is book 3 in the Tin Gypsy series. At its core, it’s a small town, contemporary romance with MC elements. It has a lot of backstory with more layers to the overarching plot being revealed with each book, so it should be read in order. I love seeing the growth in the entire cast of characters throughout the series; learning more of their histories and watching their bonds get stronger.
I have never felt that this series was very gritty, but Stone Princess seemed less so. I don’t view this as a bad thing, though.
Presley was a bit of a mystery to me before this book, so I really enjoyed getting to know her more in Stone Princess. After being abandoned on her wedding day, she is definitely a force to be reckoned with! AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SHAW *swoon* He is undeniably charming but not your average movie star. I love the protective nature that is firmly ingrained in him! The early banter is on point, then there is a little something soft and sweet mixed with an irresistible heat that I couldn’t get enough of!
Overall, Stone Princess delivers all the feels! This series! …READ IT! I am wholly invested in these characters, and I will be counting down the days till the release of book 4, Noble Prince!

I would have given this book 3 stars, only because I like Presley so much, but that didn’t seem fair to Dash and Bryce’s story that I also gave three stars and genuinely enjoyed. This book is a snooze fest. The first 80% is so boring and slow, everything remotely interesting happens in the last 20% and is so rushed.

Stumbled across this book and wound up enjoying it more than I thought. I’ll definitely loop back around and read the others in the series.
I adored Presely and Shaw but this one was too melodramatic for my taste.
Once again, I am blown away at the raw emotional story that Devney Perry gives us with Stone Princess. Well thought out and unique, this story keeps you completely engrossed in every word that flows on the pages. Honestly, you will devour this book in one sitting. If I didn’t need sleep, it would have happened for me!
The concept of this one was mind blowing. I have been intrigued by Presley since we first met her. Seeing all that she had gone through and the pain that she carried with her was just utterly heartbreaking. Having Shaw show up for the movie and I knew her guard would fly up. But watching it crumble with Shaw was stunning. Even with some misunderstandings, my heart was in my throat as things played out for these two. It was gripping. Emotional. Absolutely everything that I needed for an amazing story.
Overall, this book is just beyond words. I loved the concept. The little details from previous stories. How it all played out and is playing into the next book in the series. I am sooooo intrigued and beyond read for that one as well. If you are a fan of Perry, you need to read this! If you are new to her, you need her words in your life as well as the rest of the Tin Gypsy crew!

This felt very much like a stepping stone book. Presley and Shaw were a cute couple, and I love how boy obsessed he was throughout the entirety of it, but there was so much nothingness to this book. He was there to shoot a movie, they started sleeping together and then he left. And not only did he leave, but there was HUGE miscommunication that was then resolved within the next couple of chapters with a time jump.
Not only that, but then Presley had already started seeing someone else!! I understand the intention was to begin the setup of Scarlett and Luke, but I feel like we could've figured out another way to do it.
The ending was the best past when the plot really picked up. It was a classic Perry conflict, serious but resolved quickly. I adored the epilogue as per usual and am excited to see what the next book brings.
