Gosh, I am SO obsessed with this series. Clifton Forge is becoming my personality! And it just seems to keep getting better and better with every book.
I love that Presley our FMC was so cut to the chase, and was not about any game playing. She was uniquely herself, and I loved that about her!
Shaw. How do I count the ways that I love this character. I’m a sucker for an alpha male, especially one with a sense of humor. Their back and forth made this book so spectacular!!
Devney’s writing is like no other to me! There were moments so sweet you’d smile. A little humour to make you laugh. And some action and suspense to keep you turning the pages. I really enjoy the found family in this series! And again, an amazing epilogue!

Going into this series completely blind has been such an adventure, and this book took me somewhere I never expected — A movie star entering the mix? Definitely not what I anticipated… but I’m so glad it happened!
Presley is everything — strong, resilient, and beautifully layered. Even after all the heartbreak and trauma she endured, her spirit stayed soft and hopeful. Shaw gave her the love story she deserved — full of loyalty, tenderness, and healing.
And that epilogue?! It was pure perfection. 🖤

4.25/5⭐️I loved this one, this series is so good.

When Presley gets left at the alter by her loser fiancé, she’s sworn off love. But when big time movie star, Shaw, comes to town to shoot a movie about the murder of a local towns person- she can’t seem to stop thinking about him. The mystery + story from the first two books continues in this one + I couldn’t read it fast enough! This is a series I would read in order.

4.25 ⭐️

For starters, Presley is so cool. I want to be her friend. This series does found family so well. I didn’t have a Hollywood actor pegged as Presley’s partner but it was perfect. The plot twist? Got me again.

3.5-3.75 stars. Quickie review: This was a pretty good book, but not my favorite of the series. It was probably just me, but I had a hard time connecting with the story, even though it was interesting and kept my attention. I liked Presley and Shaw in general, but I didn't totally love this book.
