Sparkling Cyanide

Agatha Christie

3.8 AVERAGE

Loveable characters: No

Murder wise, this was good and I enjoyed that aspect. Susp ct wise, there were a lot of not particularly endearing characters in it. I found Stephen Faraday particularly awful, but then he was a politician, so perhaps that's just art imitating life.
Not my favourite Agatha.

I was surprised to find this rated so low on Goodreads! I haven’t read it in so long, and find I like the interpersonal play much better as an adult. Additionally, it has what I consider to be one of Christie’s best reveals as to “how it was done”
