I've quite enjoyed getting to know the Jacobson sisters and I was looking forward to Gabby's story quite a bit. I think because I built it up so much is maybe why it didn't quite land for me the way I was hoping. I mean, I feel for Ben for sure, but he was kinda an a-hole. I'm glad Gabby gave him hell for the way he was acting.

“A Good Book” was a miss for me and the first book in ages by JEA that won’t get my high praise. I could go on and on about why but I’ll sum it all up by saying I just need more depth in my books and I found this plot and characters to be very surface level.

JEA is my all-time favorite indie author so I’m certain this lower rating is all because of my finicky mood right now with books. I am eager to see what she has in store for her readers and will 💯 be reading her next creation!
