Well... it has very few details. It's well written, but some scenes didn't meet my expectations. And all the scenes where the boys fight the battle and the girls didn't (Aslan's orders). It was very stereotyped. Yes, I know it was written in the 50', but still... by this time women had already find their voices.

I love the story of how Lucy, Susan, Peter, and Edmund came to find Narnia!
This is the only book in the series I’ve read before and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of them!

love the concept, didn’t enjoy cs lewis’ writing and it’s no excuse that it’s a childrens book because the hobbit is way more delicately and poetically written. would not read again or read any of the rest of the series i don’t think. love the films, sexy aslan

I will definitely read this one to my children. C.S. Lewis has a lovely way of putting religious principles into children's terms, using rich symbolism and simple truths. This is the first Narnia book I've read, but I'm sure I'll read more in the future.
