Cryptic, mysterious, never ending (in a good way). I could not put this down and the fact that I have a 2ish week wait to get book two from Libby is driving me a bit nuts.
Emilia was so naive at the begging.. never questioning her grandmother and her teachings.. even doubting the lore she was being taught. Her sister always knew there was more. Wrath..oh wrath.. the tension. Wow. I need more.

První ze tří dílů serie Království hříšných na vezme do podmaniveho světa magie a hříchu. A také do Sicilskeho města Palerma, tak jak ho ještě nikdo nezná.
Dvě sestry, dvojčata a temný osud každé z nich. Čarodějky. Když je jedna ze sester brutálně zavražděna, tak se ta druhá rozhodné pro pátrání a odhalení viníka. Vše ji postupně dovede k tomu, aby byla nucena použít zakazanou temnou magii, jenže s tou není radno si zahravat. Má mnoho nezodpovezenych otázek a odpovědi by ji mohl poskytnout někdo z podsvětí. Proto privola démona, jenže z toho se nakonec vyklube samotný princ z pekel. Tedy jeden ze sedmi... Mnohokrát byla varovana, ale vztek a zlost byla silnější. Stojí tváří v tvář jednomu z Hříšných.
Neskutečně čtivý a poutavý první díl, který vás prevalcuje, chytne a nepustí. Prostředí Itálie, její gastronomie, smrtelné hříchy a magie. Kombinace, která překvapivě neskutecne dobře funguje! Je to fantasy příběh s detektivní zápletkou, špetkou jiskření a záhad. Vše je vyvazeno a neskutecne to baví.
Tuto sérii mám už komplet a jsem moc ráda, že jsem s jejím čtením počkala až budu mít všechny díly. Což doporučuji i vám, je to vysoce návykové a budete potřebovat ihned vědět, co bude dál.
Skvělé napsané, čtivé, zajímavé, napínavé a dost sexy, jistě víte proč. Ale nečekejte žádnou eroťárnu. K tomu se doufám dopracujeme později

I had another audiobook lined up to start after this one (in addition to a physical book I’ve been neglecting). However, I’m deliriously addicted to this silly story that I must know what happens next. Thankfully my library has Kingdom of the Cursed available so I can start as soon as I’m done updating all my reading apps.
Also adding Marisa Calin to the list of favorite narrators.
