A little more of a 3.75....there's something missing, and I can't quite put my finger on what it was...
Maybe, even though I am a character driven reader, it's descriptions? Of the surroundings? For a bit, they could have been in any era, there weren't terribly defining markers. And I can certainly imagine what a monastery looks like inside and out, but I didn't get a feel for it. Nor the marketplace, or even their restaurant. Might have been there, but didn't grab me and put me in the place.
I did like the story, and hoped Emilia and Wrath would get together.

I don't know how to feel about this book.
It started really slow for me and took me a while to get into the story and to start to enjoy it more
The ending was out standing and keep you on edge for the next book but it's definitely a slow burning series.
I definitely will follow the series for the story line itself that's the main focus for me personally.

This was a witchy mystery! Great storyline and a great plot twist. I loved Nonna!
The reason I only gave it 3 stars is the characters were a bit flat and the relationships were a bit flat. The world building was nonexistent.
Haven't decided if I want to read book 2.

This entire series was astounding.
I inhaled these books. I was not expecting to adore them the way that I do, but these became my Roman Empire.
I adored the FMC, Emelia. It felt like she was strong and resilient, yet soft and pliable. She gained a lot of footing in the first book.
Wrath. Is. Bae.
I’m so glad I read these. The biblical accuracy, the intelligence, the absolute plot line spins.
This book has everything you need.

my only problem with this book is that the plot isn't well explained I was confused most of the times

Rating: 4.5 Stars

I’d never run for a man, but for Wrath, I’d speed-walk.

This was a delicious and wicked story about a brooding prince of hell and the witch that accidentally summoned him.

I screamed a lot, blushed a lot and even giggled.

Not too sure what to do with myself until I can get the second book.
