Ok the first time I read this I loved it but felt confused about manny things, as I had to wait a whole year for the second it didn’t feel as connected but now I see is highly foreshadowing to the other books and the hints are subtle but they are very well delivered. Definitely enjoy this read a lot more this time around, will definitely keep recommending.

Entré sin saber mucho de la historia así que no tenía mucha idea de qué me iba encontrar más que movidas entre una bruja y un demonio. Habiéndome leído el primero y el segundo (y a falta de leerme el tercero) tengo que decir que el comienzo es bastante sin más, pero en el segundo remonta bastante. Siento que el contexto está explicado regular, para empezar está ambientado en el mundo real pero no sabes en qué momento histórico estás (a mí al menos eso me confunde un poco), y la forma de plantear los enigmas y la fantasía en general la encuentro bastante liosa en general.
La tensión entre los personajes es bastante sin más, en el segundo libro mejora bastante.

When you want a book in which you don’t need to engage your brain too much and is just good fun, then this is a good choice. It is a YA and as I have said I am not overly keen on YA books, but this genuinely wasn’t too bad, and didn’t feel too young, so I did enjoy it. The plot was really quite predictable, but I enjoyed the world building and magic aspects, I liked the heroine, and I also kind of liked the romance. So overall I can’t fault it, I would probably pick up the next in the trilogy, but neither did it blow my socks off in the same way that an adult fantasy does.
