I absolutely cannot get through this book. Painfully drab. Every chapter starts off with some sort of scientific research or experiment that was done 50+ years ago that sorta kinda is relevant to the point he is trying to make.
Everything is extremely common sense. Ableist in many different ways. I feel like I could find any of this advice on a "self help" Pinterest board. Sticking this in the nearest free library box.

the type of book everyone has on their shelf but no one has read, mediocre advice regurgitated in every self help book and podcast. if u want to read it and ur in a bad spot in life and need the motivation i’d say go ahead but i’d personally honestly i’d save my money and just watch some TED talks

I really enjoyed this book - it felt like the author was reiterating concepts I already understood on the surface, but proceeded to dive deeper into what that truly meant. It was informative, inspiring, and concepts were always reinforced by real-world applications and examples. I'm really glad I picked this one up!
