Better than the last one, but I'm still waiting for some more character growth.
Janet is always a good for a laugh. Love Stephanie, Lula, Grandma and the rest of the gang. At this point she should just make a TV series out of these books!! Always looking forward to the next one!

Another fun romp with Stephanie, a pack of attack Chihuahuas,a trip to Atlantic City and Grandma Mazur catches an eyeful that fulfill's he bucket list.
If you have read any one of the last few of these books you know the plot, Stephanie drives cars that blow up, Grandma is nutty, Stephanie cannot choose between Morelli and Ranger, Lula is still Lula etc.
Two stars because I chose to read this knowing exactly what I was getting myself in for.

Meh. I hate starting a review with "meh" but really, that sums it up. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. As an established fan, I feel slighted that I have to re-learn the history of the characters each time. We're at book 21. If someone is coming in new to the series, honestly, don't start at book 21.
I'm super tired of the whole Ranger/Joe thing. She's got one foot out the door and it's no longer making the story fun. Either she's all in with Joe or she's out.
The story was a decent story. But I also found not a lot of laugh out loud moments, moments I treasured in the earlier books. It feels like it's not even the same person writing the series.
This is why I gave it 3 stars. The story was ok, the characters were all the ones we love, and there was a decent amount of Joe AND Ranger.
