So, I was really put-off when I first started off this book. In my head I was like, "Who the hell comes up with this?" But then I figured, I already payed for it so I might as well attempt to finish it. WELL! The joke was on me because I ended up falling in love with Javier and Luisa's completely fucked up and unorthodox relationship. It was definitely a tough read but a good one, nonetheless.
dark, dirty, and super hot. really loved this! chock full of excitement on every page... looking forward to more from this author.
Why have I not read this book sooner?? Daaaaamn, what a ride it took me. It's so heartbreaking, Luisa Reyes, the h, didn't have an easy life but when she gets kidnapped by Javier Bernal she starts to feel and experience things she never had before.
Taken by one and kidnapped by another, Luisa finds herself in web she never thought of being. You are in for an intense ride.

That was absolute trash. It was gruesome and disgusting. And the plot was so effing stupid... what a waste of time

This book is a beautiful thing! Dirty and Deadly and Seductive and Sensual. Gushing! Am I gushing? I feel like I'm not capable of anything but flowery flattery and obsessive fangirling.
My coherent thought was all sucked away by the magnificence that is Javier Bernal. My King. He is undeniably, one of the most intriguing characters I have ever read. I have found a new love for this incredible enigma of a man. I adore his codes of morality ... always following his own set of rules ... adamant about keeping promises ... all while running a drug cartel, kidnapping, torturing & killing.
But let's not ignore the Queen of the story. LuisaReyes Chavez is also an incredibly amazing character. She had me hooked to this story just as much as our man Javi did. She is Strong and Bold and also a little Dirty. I loved her transformation throughout this book, as she came to know and understand herself.
I feel that after this book, nothing can stop Karina Halle. I have loved all of her work, but this one ... WOW ... I'm sure it's her best work yet. I am In Love ... with the characters ... this book ... and the magnificence of KH!

Dark, thrilling, exciting and oh so very good. There was not a single moment of this story that I did not thoroughly enjoy, okay it's not going to be the book for everyone but if you are looking for a fabulous love story and one with dark, dangerous, heart stopping, breath taking moments then this really is the book for you.
