while this book was my guilty pleasure it was so strange and nonsensical and

nothing ever got explained not even in the end there was just so much left unexplained. I feel like while Colleen Hoover writes fiction consistently, its usually realistic fiction, so this book being complete bullshit threw me off.

While I enjoyed it I thought it was such a strange book

This was a weird one. I’m a huge Hoover fan, but this wasn’t one of my favorites. The romance was super cute and her flair was there, but I didn’t love the unrealistic twists in the story. The whole time I kept waiting for the ‘logical explanation’ to come through and it just wasn’t there.
Plus, the fact that she was kidnapped for 2 days and then just escaped with no real follow up there? Weird and random and unnecessary.
When it was all said and done, it did leave me with cutesy feels, but it’s really a 3.5 rounded up to 4. Not sure I will be bothering with book 2 or 3
