This was entertaining and extremely imaginative. I really liked Tiffany as a character, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flashbacks to her grandmother, who was quite a character herself.
The one thing that prevented me from really getting into the book, though, is that it sometimes had a tendency to overdo the jokey bits, to the extent that I thought it rendered the jokes unfunny. I found myself tiring of the drawn-out nature of the jokes and eager to get back to the story itself.

Ach, Crivens! This was a great story!
Funny and adventurous, lost me a little in the dreams part but I adore the wee free men and the witches!
Look forward to reading more from Terry Pratchett if I can figure out a reading order! ;)
The Scottish-ness in this was funny and my favourite quote is because of my Dad;

The Scottish-ness in this was funny and my favourite quote is because of my Dad;
'I never once saw his bo-ut.'
That was how she pronounced 'boat'.
