Something was missing for me... I'm not sure if it's because I listened to the audiobook instead of physically reading the book but I didn't feel many emotions reading this when I should have. It was good, I just didn't connect with the characters very much.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really enjoyed this one! 💕 At 400 pages (Kindle edition) it was such an easy read 📖✨ I flew through it. Paige Toon’s writing is so engaging and the romance is a gorgeous slow burn 🔥💫 — I loved getting to know the characters and feeling all the emotions along the way.

Not quite a new fave, but still a heartfelt, emotional read that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for love, hope, and a few tears. 🌸💭

A great read, I was very shocked towards the end, it really does take you by surprise, 10/10 would recommend.

It took me an extraordinarily long time to get through this book, and that should tell you something - that it is boring more times than not. The cover literally says "An earth-shattering secret", for which I was waiting all the time, and even though the story was interesting, it took definitely too long to develop. It felt like it was written to be a show and kept delaying the emotion and the developments, even though the storyline had potential to be much deeper and just... "more". At about 80% completion it made me get emotional and tear up, which I hoped would stay until the end, but unfortunately it was just plain predictable. Never thought I'd get over Paige Toon, but it might just be happening...

i didn’t love it, i didn’t hate it, i’m just simply content with the book. the characters were great, the plot was good, but i just can’t get past the authors wordiness! too much describing, not enough of the characters. half of all the chapters were describing the building or setting they were end and i simply just didn’t care!
