I loved this book so much. I think this is the first book where I love all characters of a love triangle. And I legit don't mind whoever Tessa would end up with. Tessa is so lovely and caring I love her. Will and Jem's parabatai bond is my favorite, the love those boys have for each other. My heart ached for both of them, they deserve the world and more. I also really adore, Charlotte, Henry and Sophie. And of course the only sensible Lightwood aka Gideon. This read was so good i'm so happy right now.
Second read, 3.5 stars.
I love that we were able to get to know the characters on such a deeper level. In the first book, we barely skimmed the surface of them but in this one, we dived right into the deep end. I still wish we got Jem's POV but I was overall really happy hearing both his and will's story on such a deep level. The plot of this book was still a little on the lackluster side and seemed to jump around a little choppily, but it still kept me hooked enough. Overall a fairly decent sequel.

Literally just building on everything the first book gave us. I just came from The Dark Artifices which in my opinion is Mama Clares most advanced and beautiful writing ever on paper so going back to her early works is rough. Yes the book is well written but the passing out to start a new chapter or move things along is so overused. I do however love the pacing of this book. Like yes not much was happening plot wise but we got so much character happenings in 400 pages, I loved it. I fear I’m team everyone. Team Henry actually. I love a fearless adhd ginger.

This is the best book I have read this month! I love love love it! The ending is shocking and towards the end you feel this irresistable need to repeat Oh my god out loud at least seven times. Loved this book and I would recommend it to anyone that loves Cassie Clare.
Twilight who?? We all know how much love triangles have been beaten to death by...well, everyone. But this? This love triangle is the best love triangle ever written.

A solid continuation of the forsythia book, and I really enjoyed the development of Jem and Tessa's relationship. I also really hope Will is worked on more in the next book, now that they've resolved the whole curse thing.
Tessa can't marry Jem. Tessa and Will are OTP. I just wanna know what Tessa is, if she is part shadowhunter and part demon. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. And I hope her character is somehow weaved into the Mortal Instruments - as she is supposedly alive in CoG.
