A girl who is never herself, always wearing a mask of who she thinks she should be. A girl surrounded by friends yet is the loneliest one of all. A boy who's always been in the shadow, maybe about to come to light.

This book is about friendship, and being true to yourself. It's also about how changing your mind is not the end of the world, and that you never really know someone unless they let you. This book has an important message, that it is okay for you not to have it all figured out, you have time.

This book was full of lovable characters, funny scenes and so much heart. The writer is able to evoke so many emotions, and I can definitely see young adults seeing themselves in these characters. 

The only reason I gave this a low score was because I'm just too old for this kind of book, so at times it was cringe. But that is with the wisdom of hindsight. If you're a young person unsure of your next steps, I would definitely recommend this book.

Amazing. I understand now why Aled wasn’t in the heartstopper Netflix series- he is such an amazing character and despite the show being great, it probably wouldn’t of done Aled justice.
