notes from my book talk:

Did not realize it was British so it’s a bit confusing but it’s ok I love the English
I hope this isn’t one of those books where the timeline makes no sense
I feel like the author shouldn’t have given away who Radio Silence is in the blurb

Really good book
Plot twists are pretty predictable but still entertaining
Relatable if you’ve ever struggled with school
Not a typical love story (not a romance at all)
Text conversations are realistic
You’ll like this if you like realistic fiction, books about friendship, Goodreads says it’s similar to Aristotle and Dante
Warning: almost 500 pages (but I never got bored)

Somewhere along the way I realized
February Friday was actually Carys
so that wasn't surprising to discover, but it was well developed. It's the second book I read of Alice that's not about Nick and Charlie. I really like what she writes, maybe because we're the same age, but I deeply connect to her portrayals of adolescence. I think her stories are quite original in their simplicity and realness of the events. She's became one of my favourite authors.
