I loved this book so much! There were very diverse LGBTQ+ charachters even a demisexual! If you love sci-fi and internet related books this is a book for you! It doesn't overdo the internet part and the sci-fi is mixed well with reality. I could also relate with Frances because I also want to go to art school! I read this in 4 days or so, I really enjoyed it!

I liked Radio Silence, but it didn't really move me in any particular way.
Oseman provides a great depiction of teenagers and the connection to social media through the medium of Youtube show. The characters were real, almost poignantly so, with unique identities that we don't see all the time in YA fiction.
The writing was stellar and kept me entertained, however something just didn't fully click with me in order to push this toward a higher rating and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I'll continue to ruminate on that.

I didn't like the characters at first but I learnt to love them after half of the book, the first half was a bit boring for me.
OH now that was a journey. look, i normally write my reviews in a rather formal manner (WELL, at least, based on what i consider “formal”) but this book made me feel like a high school student again so i’ll type like a high school student. (funny how it was only a few years ago but it feels like it’s been a decade!)
this book... god, this book is not perfect. it’s messy. it’s weird. it’s just all over the place. BUT it’s real. it’s beautiful. it’s touching. i related to the characters very, very much and i know every young person (including those who are still young at heart) will also relate to this work. it talks about such important topics like being queer, questioning your identity and your feelings, having abusive parents and carrying the traumas caused by them, being left out, being THE gifted child (then disappointing everyone you care about), depression, anxiety (EXAM ANXIETY and school’s horrible, horrible effects on many children), falling in love, having friends, and just... being you! following your dreams!!!!! listening to what your heart says!!!!!!! god. this is authentic. this is so, so, so pretty and it gave me SO much hope about my life, my future. i read this in less than a day while i was feeling down about EVERYTHING & i’m super thankful for this book. it has the same touch, same feeling as ari & dante. god, i love love love it. i saw this on paperbackdreams’s youtube channel so thanks, kat. that book really changed me. okay, that’s all. i promise i’m not normally this ridiculous but i just FELT it. <3

This was a super cute read. I wasn’t sure if it at first but then I couldn’t put it down. The characters were super lovable!
